Odoo Community vs Enterprise: which should you choose?

Choosing an Odoo edition is mostly a question of which features you will use in the first two years, not which has the longer list.

What Community gives you

Community covers sales, purchase, inventory, CRM, basic accounting, website and eCommerce, and the core HR apps. It is open source, so you can extend it freely.

What Enterprise adds

Enterprise adds Studio, full accounting with bank sync, helpdesk, planning, marketing automation, mobile apps and official support from Odoo S.A.

How we decide

We list your required workflows, check each against both editions, and cost the gaps. If Community plus a custom module is cheaper over three years, we recommend it. If a single Enterprise feature removes months of custom work, we say that too.
